Mento Landscaping & Paving, Inc. is a full service landscape company based in Braintree, MA. For over 36 years, Mento’s has been providing superior landscaping and hardscaping services to customers on the south shore.
John L. Mento started working in landscaping services in 1967 while attending high school. In 1971, he began his own landscaping company, Mento Landscaping. He incorporated his business in 1973. Mento’s basic philosophy is the same today as it was back in 1971, to grow the business one satisfied customer at a time.
John Mento has three sons, John Jr., Joseph, and Dan. His eldest son John began working at Mento’s in 1996. Today, John is the Vice President of Operations. Joseph joined the company in 1999 and is now the Vice President of Sales. Dan followed in 2003 and currently manages the entire retail operation overseeing the care and inventory of all of the company’s equipment and materials.
In the late 90’s John L. Mento began to see the importance of having a convenient “one stop shopping” experience for his customers. His sons John J. and Joe developed an asphalt and brick division. These additions provided a wide variety of landscape and hardscape products and services including design, maintenance, irrigation, stone walls, paver patios and driveways for residential and commercial clients. Mento Landscape then became Mento Landscape & Paving, Inc. Mento’s employs highly trained professionals to satisfy all of your landscape needs.
